Bill Klotz discovered that he had MS in 1995,
but he could still work until 1999. He was confined to a wheelchair
in 2001, and to date he has very little use of his hands and
no use of his legs.
He decided that he really wanted and needed
a service dog when he dropped his keys outside of his apartment
one hot Houston day. He sat there for a couple of hours until
someone came by and helped him. With a service dog, Bill would
never have that problem again. Besides that incident, Bill
said that he has dropped the phone and other objects that
he really needed at the time. He wants a companion that stays
with him 24 hours a day so that he won't be and feel so helpless
again. There is no doubt that a service dog will do that for
him.
We need Funding for Bill to get a new Service Dog.
We are looking for a total of $20,000. This money will provide
Bill with a new dog, neutering, food, shots, heart worm medication,
flea control, kennels, leashes, harnesses, collars, toys,
training supplies, treats, training, and vet fees until he
is placed as a Service Dog with Bill. This process will take
a year or two, so we need your help. Time is of the essence
